01
The difference between EPP, EDR and XDR
EPP focuses on preventing endpoint threats. EDR supports endpoint investigation and response. XDR aims to correlate supported sources into a broader view. ESET Inspect provides visibility for investigating abnormal behavior, threat hunting and incident response. Confirm included components and data sources with the selected plan.
02
From an alert to an actionable response plan
Generating an alert does not complete an operation. Agree on which events take priority, who investigates and which actions require authorization. Assess the impact of measures such as isolating a business-critical device. Define incident records, communications and recovery ownership before implementation.
- ✓Priority and escalation criteria
- ✓Investigation and response permissions
- ✓Continuity planning for critical systems
03
Operational readiness for threat hunting
Advanced visibility tools require planning for agent coverage, retention and administrator access. Observe normal business behavior during onboarding and assess recurring alerts. Document and periodically review exceptions to maintain alert quality. Reporting for employees and administrators is agreed within the service scope.

ESET Inspect and ESET MDR are different offerings
Inspect is a technology component; managed detection and response is an expert-operated service. Evaluate ESET MDR options under the vendor's service terms. ESPO BİLİŞİM deployment and support and ESET MDR coverage are defined separately in the quotation. Monitoring hours, response authorization and service levels depend on the purchased agreement.
